Our resources reach beyond the literary and music worlds with technology resources suited for any occasion. With available computers, iPads, fax machines, copiers, printers, a scanner and even a typewriter, completing your next project is just a reservation away.
All computer reservations made over the phone must be made using a library card. Don’t have a card? Getting one is easy.
Library cardholders receive $2 worth of free printing per day, an increase from our former policy of $1/day for cardholders. Guest pass users receive $.50 worth of free printing per day, a decrease from our former policy of $1/day for guest pass users.
All branches have free Wifi; when you visit just ask a staff person how to connect.
Our Heights Knowledge and Innovation Center (HKIC) at the Lee Road branch has a digital media lab, an all-in-one resource for the production of audio, video and photography with tools to produce high definition videos, record podcasts, edit photos, compose music, and create digital illustrations.
If you’re unfamiliar with technology, Heights Libraries offers technology training in a variety of different areas. Ask a librarian about our computer and technology classes, or browse the program calendar.
Check out our technology related blogs, written by our own Heights Libraries Tech Trainers, and sign up for the TechKnowledge eNewsletter to keep up to date with all of our technology-related events and info.
