    Includes links to online magazines, area events, language resources, employment and education resources, and organizations serving the Deaf Community.

  • Materials
    The library provides DVDs, Videos, CDs and magazines for and about the Deaf Community. The collection includes resources on culture, language, education and history of Deaf people.

  • Programs
    • ASL Film Series: Deaf and hearing audiences alike will enjoy these films celebrating Deaf Culture and American Sign Language. Held the first Thursday evening of every month, the films include dramas, mysteries, comedies, documentaries and ASL storytelling. Popcorn, refreshments and time to socialize are provided.
    • American Sign Language Basics: Designed for adults, this series of classes introducing ASL is presented by Cleveland SignStage Theatre.
    • Deaf Gathering: An evening for socializing and sharing, Deaf Gathering meets on the fourth Monday of each month. Interpreter provided.

    • Two Signing librarians are available to assist Deaf patrons.
      Appointments available on request.
    • Interpreters can be provided for any scheduled library program. We encourage advance notice to allow us to accomodate your needs
