National Library Week 2012
April 8th - April 14th

Visit your Heights Libraries. You belong here!

Every day across the country, libraries open their doors to everyone: students, parents, seniors, teachers, writers, artists, job seekers, entrepreneurs, readers, gamers, movie lovers and travel buffs.

Take advantage of the free access to books and computers, assistance with resumes and job searches, accurate financial information, adult education courses, support for new Americans, CDs, DVDs and much more.

Here's How You Can Celebrate National Library Week at Heights Libraries :

Kids, fill out and color a certificate of appreciation for your favorite librarian and present it to him or her.

Everyone, stop in and tell us what libraries mean to you! We'll be recording your statements and posting them on YouTube for all to see throughout the week! Here's the recording schedule:

Lee Road branch: Monday, April 9, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Coventry Village branch: Tuesday, April 10, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
University Heights branch: Wednesday, April 11, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Noble Neighborhood branch: Thursday, April 12, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

And of course, don't forget to talk to the people in your life about why libraries are important!

"Without librarians, I wouldn't be a writer today."

See what bestselling author and Honorary Chair of National Library Week, Brad Meltzer, has to say about the impact of libraries on his life.
