We have fun programs for all ages, prizes to win, and plenty of books to read or listen to. Our children's summer reading program has two different levels:

Read With Me - Parents and young readers can engage in activities that use interactive ways to develop reading skills.  Games like "Name all the things we see today that start with P" and "Same sound pictionary" weave in language skills with time spent reading enjoyable stories.  This program is perfect for younger readers ages 2-7.

Independent Readers - Summer reading wouldn't be summer reading without a healthy mix of reading for school, reading on vacation, and reading under the blanket by flashlight.  Older readers who are reading on their own sign up for this program in droves.

Stop by any branch to receive your first free book starting June 25.  You can choose your second free book starting July 16. 

We also have plenty of exciting programs for readers of all ages.  We have preschool dance, music, magic shows, art and craft programs, and storytelling performances.  Our celebration party and grand prize drawing will take place at the Lee Road Library on August 8 at 7 pm.  

You can collect stickers from all of our library branches until August 31!
