Part time (20 hours per week)
The CH-UH Public Library is committed to providing high quality technology instruction to our customers and we’re currently looking for an experienced and customer centered Technology Trainer to join our team. This individual will develop course content, deliver instruction in both a classroom and one-on-one learning environment, develop outreach computer classes and assist customers in the computer lab.
Applicants must be able to make the complex simple and fun! We’re looking for a demonstrated knowledge of:
- Microsoft Office (advanced skills desired)
- iLife (advanced knowledge of digital production software, a plus)
- Mac OS and Windows operating systems
- Web Applications
- Digital devices
Experience in course development and instructional design is desired. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, along with training experience and computer education preferred but will consider new grads – so please apply new grads! A Bachelor’s degree is required. Technology Trainers will be expected to work a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week including weekdays, evenings and weekends. The salary range starts at $15.85 per hour.
