Last Year’s Booklist: Horror for Halloween

by Greg on July 10, 2008

Last year in the sister website . . . With Intent to Commit Horror, I compiled a list of horror books librarians might want to gather for a display and patrons might enjoy reading. I’ve begun planning a new list for this year, but I’d thought I’d share last year’s list — for those of you who can’t get enough.

Horror for Halloween: A 2007 Booklist

This is a booklist for librarians and anyone else interested in good scary reading this Halloween season. I’ve selected a mix of paperbacks and hardcovers for this list and tried to stay within 2006-2007 publication dates but I wasn’t always successful. Feel free to print up this list and use it as your personal checklist or use it to create a display or bookmarks.

The titles are linked to the Clevnet Web Catalog.

Using This List

When I first published this list, I published it under a creative commons liscense. I’ve removed it. Print copies of the list, use the list as you like. If you attribute it to me that’s great but no body will be hurt if you don’t. If you use this list, I’d love to hear about it in the comments section. If you think I left off somebody who deserved to be on the list let me know that too.

Hey Anna,

It’s comments like yours that make all the work worth it — well, okay all that work was fun, however, it still made my day to hear from you. :)

Thank you for mentioning me on your blog. That was really very nice. Please, let me know if there is ever anything I or my fellow RATS can do to help other librarians out.

–Greg

P.S. I enjoyed reading First Conclusions. Great work!
