30 Day Book Challenge: Day 23 — A Book You’ve Wanted to Read for a Long Time But Still Haven’t

As I mentioned here, I’m drawn to all things Swedish, so you’d think I’d have read the (arguably) most famous Swedish export:

Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren

And on top of that, she’s a children’s classic! Pippi was the first book I added to my Goodreads “to read” list when I began my account three years ago, and I STILL haven’t gotten to it. I’m looking forward to eventually reading Lindgren’s work, and I’m excited to draw parallels between Pippi and Lisbeth Salander, whose character was inspired by her.
