Better Know a Library Staffer: Will

Here on the blog the other Matchmakers and I share what we are reading, watching, or listening to quite frequently, but we don’t often hear from our other staff members all over the library system. Now, we will be sharing interviews from other staff members so that you the reader can see what we’re reading/watching/listening to all over the Heights Library system!

This interview comes from one of our Pages, Will!

Read

What book are you reading at the moment? What are your thoughts on it?
I am currently reading a memoir entitled: Mozart In The Jungle: sex, drugs and classical music. It’s written by Blair Tindall. It’s an interesting look into the social lives of classical orchestra musicians and has been an enjoyable read.
What kind of books do you typically read?

Good books, I read more fiction than non-fiction but try to read eclectically. The beat writers are my favorite.
Have you ever pretended to have read a book? If so, which one and why?
I smile and nod when I hear someone talk about any of the Harry Potter books but I’ve never read a word of them and have no intention to do so.

Watch

Which do you prefer: movies or television?
Movies.
Have you ever binge-watched a show? If so, what was it?
Yes. True detective (season one).

Listen

What kind of music do you enjoy?
I like all genres with the exceptions of country and house music I guess it’s called.
Have you found any new or new-to-you artists/bands lately?
2 cellos.
Do you listen to different music based on the seasons?
No, based on mood.
