We offer internet-connected computers in every branch of our Heights Libraries. We offer full color copiers and printers, scanners and fax capabilities. We even have a vending machine in our HKIC that lets you borrow an iPad with your library card.
You can easily reserve a computer online or over the phone with your library card. Don’t have a card? Getting one is easy.
If you are a Library cardholder, you also get $2 worth of free printing every day. (Guest pass users receive $.50 worth.) This includes both black & white and color prints.
All of our branches have free Wifi. When you visit, ask a staff person and they will provide you with the name and password to connect.
While at our Lee Road branch, come visit the Heights Knowledge and Innovation Center (HKIC). The HKIC has a comfortable seating area and tables with power plugs for those who bring their own devices. There are color copiers and printers available. We also have an iPad vending machine that allows you to borrow an iPad for use while in the HKIC. The meeting rooms in the HKIC offer swiveling screens and power hookups on each table.
Our digital media lab is an all-in-one resource for audio, video and photography production. It offers tools to produce high-definition videos, podcasts, photos, music, and digital illustrations. For a list of programs, instruments and gear available, please visit our HKIC page.
Heights Libraries offers many different classes for all different levels of experience. Our classes cover a wide range of topics and skill levels. You can find classes that teach the basics of Windows to more advanced classes like creating a budget in Excel. Ask a librarian if you would like more information about our computer and technology classes or browse the program calendar online.
