Festival Season and a Spotify Playlist!

festivalsDuring the Spring and Summer there are music festivals going on practically every weekend throughout the country. While you may know about SXSW, Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Warped Tour, there are countless others.

Last year I went to the Newport Folk Festival and it was terrific. The music was nonstop all weekend and the locale was divine. That’s another great thing about the festivals, you get the opportunity to travel to a new place and often the festivals are at a local/national park. So get out there and go to a festival this Summer, or add one to your bucket list!

Earlier this month, I went to the Bunbury Festival in Cincinnati. Even though it we still had a great time! Bleachers and Walk the Moon (whose members are also from Cincy) were both such a delight to see live. Next year I would like to go to Firefly in Dover, Delaware. Each year Firefly’s lineup get better and better and it looks like a great location. Until then, I’ll be sticking closer to home and enjoying some local shows. Be sure to check out what’s coming to the Grog Shop, the Beachland, Jacobs Pavilion, and all of our other great local venues.

Also, I’m excited to announce the addition of Spotify playlists to my posts! Now I can instantly share music with all of you.
