Heights Libraries accepting applications for new board position

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library will be accepting applications for an open board position beginning Monday, October 12, with applications due Tuesday November 10, 2020. The new board member will replace Jim Roosa, who is rolling off the board after serving one full term and one partial term.

“Our library is such an integral part of our community,” says Heights Libraries Director Nancy Levin. “Serving on the library board is one of the best ways a citizen can serve the Heights community, by helping guide the vision of the public library.”

Interested applicants should email switchboard@heightslibrary.org to request an application, and also return the completed application to switchboard@heightslibrary.org no later than Tuesday, November 10 by 5 p.m.

Applicants may also drop off applications in the designated box outside the Administration office at the Lee Road branch, 2345 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights,

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights School Board will interview candidates on Tuesday, December 1 at 7 p.m. Interviews last roughly 15 minutes.
