Know Your Library #1

In the 1940s, the Cleveland Heights Public Library (the University Heights branch didn’t open until 1952) ran a column in the Heights Press called Know Your Library. The library would share a fun fact of the week, announce a new program, or new books that arrived, and I thought it would be fun to bring back the column in blog form! I have been working in our archives for a few months now, and there are so many fun articles and photos to share, so each week I will be sharing a little peek into the past. For the first one, here are a few of the original Know Your Libraries:
