Hello, fellow readers! Today we’re announcing our new Match Me Up online service.
Match Me Up is a form on the library website that you can fill out and submit to our Matchmakers team to get suggestions about new books to try. There are five of us Matchmakers, and one will be assigned to handle your request. We are all avid readers and enjoy making book suggestions. No matter what genre you like, there’s someone on our team who reads that genre too and would be happy to suggest some new titles for you.
It’s so easy… just give us your name, some contact information and let us know where you’d like to pick up your books. Add some info about what kind of books you’d like to read, and hit the Submit button. We’ll take it from there.
One of our Matchmakers will suggest three titles for you, and put the books on hold, so all you have to do is watch for your notifications and pick up your books.
We are very excited about our new service! You can find it on our website under the Read, Watch, Listen menu, under Matchmakers Book Blog. It’s also featured for a short time on our home page, to let you all know that you can submit a Match Me Up request with us.

Are their any youth members in the Matchmakers group? I have read your book review 2023 and while I love this idea, I have 3 young children and I think it would be great to hear from readers in their age group regarding books that are meant for their age group. My 10 year old do not want me to read a book and review it and tell him a review, it will seem inconsistent to what he really values in a good book. If students are not apart of this group then I urge you to consider them and if they are apart of the group then I recommend you let other youth know how they can be apart of the matchmakers group in the future. This can foster a deeper love for reading and writing for our youth.
