Are you an aspiring teen musician?
Heights Libraries is taking applications for the Teen Music Makerspace. Experience hands-on digital music production while learning the art of writing, recording, mixing and editing your music in the Teen Digital Media Lab.
Students who complete the Teen Music Makerspace program receive open access to the Teen Digital Media Lab through high school graduation.
Teen Digital Media Lab Student Program
- Who: Teens ages 13-18, who have not yet graduated high school.
- What: Have you always wanted to make music but did not know where to start? Come to the Teen Room or go to our website and fill out an application for one-on-one introductory lessons from our in music-making technology like the MPC and Garage Band. Participants will commit to attending 2 separate 1 on 1 sessions of 2 hours with a library tech trainer over the course of a month. Start fulfilling your musical aspirations today.
- Participants must be students between 13-18 years old who have not yet graduated from high school
- Participants must be a city resident of Cleveland Heights or University Heights or attend Cleveland Heights-University Heights High School.
