Even though it’s been unseasonably warm this winter, we thought it would be fun to do a “Snow and Winter” theme this week. Who knows, our enthusiasm may bring some snow soon!

Art Project:
We were inspired by our last story, “Snowballs” by Lois Ehlert. So we created our own snowmen (and snow women!). First, we made our snowmen by drawing three circles on a white sheet of construction paper. Then we gave our snowmen eyes, a nose, hair, and so on using various materials such as raisins, buttons, stickers, yarn, ribbon, and plastic silverware.
