I thought I would use my blog post this month to promote our movie streaming services. Heights Libraries gives cardholders access to thousands of movies and tv shows through its streaming platforms Kanopy, Hoopla, and IndieFlix. The best part? It’s free!
You get up to 10 loans per month on Kanopy, 15 on Hoopla, and unlimited access on IndieFlix. All you need is a tablet or computer with a high-speed internet connection (we loan tablets and hotspots if you need one!). You can also download the apps and watch on your phone.
With the Cleveland International Film Festival coming soon, this is a great way to catch up on some great films while you wait for the festival. There are literally thousands of titles and the collections are updated regularly. Everything from arthouse and classics to comedy, action, and documentaries. I always check the “Newly Added” sections first. I also like the special monthly category on Hoopla — this month features selections for Women’s History Month.
