Before downloading, keep a few things in mind:
- Downloading can take some time. Larger files, such as videos or software, will take longer to download than small files.
- Before downloading, select (and remember!) where the file(s) will be saved. Otherwise, you may have trouble finding the downloaded file!
- Be cautious about the sites from which software is downloaded. It’s often difficult to determine whether the program is legitimate when downloading and installing software from the Internet.
- Have a quality antivirus program installed and running when downloading software from the Internet.
