Our theme for today was “Yum, books are tasty!” with a number of books with food as the main topic. We started out reading The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog!, words and pictures by Mo Willems.
Our next book for the morning was Chicken Soup with Rice, words and pictures by Maurice Sendak.
We followed up our storytime with an awesome activity of cereal box puzzles.
