Thank you for your interest in Heights Library’s Human Library program.
This program provides an exciting opportunity for the public (“Readers”) to connect one on-one with individuals (“Books”) who share their unique set of life experiences, stories, and knowledge with them.
Through positive, personal dialogue, the library’s goals are to encourage new ideas and ways of thinking, to celebrate differences and to promote community building.
As a Human Book you will be sharing your personal experiences with strangers, and it is important to display respect for other people’s opinions.
The event takes place on Thursday March 20th and will last from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This includes rest breaks and light refreshments.
The deadline to apply is by March 3rd, 2025. Depending on participation, there is a chance that your “book” may not be selected. If selected, you will be notified via email by March 7th.
Again, thank you so much for your interest in participating in this program!
