Happy New Year! Many people take some time now to think about new things they would like to try or learn in the new year. Trying new things can be exciting, but can also be intimidating, hard, confidence-shaking, disappointing, and downright scary! When faced with these feelings, it is easy to get frustrated and give up, or even feel negatively about yourself. This week, I’d love to share some great picture books that help kids (and adults) feel empowered to practice, persist, seek support, trust themselves, and imagine new possibilities.
