Art Project:  The kids made colorful parrots (Just like Tico Tango!) from a foot and hand using construction paper, markers and feathers.  Using green construction paper, they traced and cut out one foot and one hand.  The foot shape is laid down and glued on to the paper first, to represent the body of the parrot.  Next, the hand is glued down over the foot shape to represent a wing.  They then added yellow paper for the beak, drew in an eye and legs, and added feathers to make the parrot colorful and soft.
