Election day is November 5.
Are you ready?

Election Day Is Tuesday, November 5.

Here are some important dates to remember:

  • Sept 20th:
    Absentee ballots to be mailed to voters
  • Oct 7th:
    Voter registration closes. Any applications dropped off this date by the end of business, 9 pm, must be held and will be collected by the BoE either the next day or soon thereafter
  • Oct 8th:
    Early voting begins. Check the website for locations and times.
  • Oct 29th:
    Abesntee ballots requets must be received by BoE by this date
  • Nov 3rd:
    Voting in-person (early) at the BoE ends at 5 PM
  • Nov 4th:
    All absentee ballots mailed anywhere in the US must be postmarked by this date and received by the BoE on or before 11/9 in order to be counted
  • Nov 5th:
    Election day!
  • Nov 5th:
    Absentee ballots returned in person must be received at the BoE by 7:30 PM in order to be counted

You can register to vote at any Heights Libraries branch! Just ask a staff member for a form. We’ll send them to the BOE!
