Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
This book is a crescendo. The Harry Potter series grew so large, in so many ways– the story had become so complex and dealt with such deep, human issues… The resolution was just incredibly beautiful. The memory of reading it is burned in my brain. In my mind, the story still goes on.
(And for the record… I kind of liked that unpopular epilogue.)
