Today in Explorastory, we talked all about outer space!
Our first book was “Mooncake” by Frank Asch
We stayed on the moon for our second book, “Papa, Can You Please Get the Moon for Me?” by Eric Carle
We ended by boldly going where no storytime has gone before with the help of Colin McNaughton’s book “We’re Off to Look for Aliens”.
In between books we grooved to the tunes, “Why Does the Sun Shine?” and “How Many Planets?” by the band They Might Be Giants.
For our craft we used paper plates, tissue paper and modge podge to create our very own planets! Take a look at some of their colorful creations!
