Today’s theme was trees in all of their majestic beauty.

We also recited the rhyme “Five Little Apples”. Here are the words:

 

Way up high in the apple tree

Five little apples smiled at me.

I shook that tree as hard as I could

Down came an apple, and mmm, it was good!

(Repeat rhyme with 4,3,2, 1 apple)

 

Our art project was a process-oriented craft that involved the kids placing fingerprints on a tree template to look like leaves, flowers, apples, etc.  I found the template here:
