Roxarts sponsored artist Debbie Apple-Presser to virtually guide Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District students (K through 5) in drawing and painting self portraits using warm and cold color palettes. The goal is to show students how colors in a self-portrait can reflect how the artist feels on the inside, and to express their individuality and emotions.
Using totems to display some of the pieces, we show how “Together We Rise!”
